Is it possible to make a contemporary version of the ripped commercial poster from the Parisian underground?
This book is a reflexion about this topic and each booklet is a chapter of my work
The first booklet is the photographic report of the ripped posters I found the metro during my stay in Paris.
The second booklet is a restrospective of the “Nouveau Réalisme” artists, like Mimmo Rotella, Jacques Villeglé and Raymond Hains, who already worked ripping off posters.
Since artists of the Nouveau Réalisme movement had already worked on that subject, ripping off posters and reconstructing them in my room like those artists would not bring anything new.
Finally, the last booklet is a collection of my own visuals.
